I can't believe I am just now catching on to this. I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere. I'm sad to announce that Vegoose 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada has been cancelled. I was actually planning to make this trip! A festival in October with a Halloween atmosphere in Las Vegas was so damn appealing to me.
From what I can gather it seems that prior years attendance and forecast attendance is not enough to keep Vegoose in Las Vegas. The festival was co-Produced by Superfly Productions and AC Entertainment which is the same partnership that brings us Bonnaroo each year.
Either way - I am very dissapointed to hear of this news. Hopefully it doesn't take longer than one summer for the production team to find a new city that would love to have Vegoose - I can guarantee Indianapolis would take it!
