I'm excited to post the interview from Georgio for the Photo of the Week. Robert wrote a short commentary earlier this week to go along with the selection. Going forward, Robert will be a big help with the Photo of the Week - both during the selection process, creating new interview questions as well as updating the Photo of the Week section.
On to the interview! Thanks again Georgio - we really appreciate your willingness to contribute.

This was not pre-planned, I was lying in the sun listening to Andrew Bird and when Sharon stood up I thought it looked like a good photo opportunity, nothing more.
How long have you been behind a camera?
I've had various cameras since I was about 15, but I got interested in photography about 7 years ago when I got myself a 2 megapixel Canon Ixus.
Do you prefer a certain brand of gear?
Currently I like the Sony Alpha brand.
What is your favorite piece of gear that you own?
My Minolta f1.7 50mm lens.
Do you find it troubling to carry equipment around at festivals and still have a decent amount of mobility?
I worry too much about losing my stuff so I don't bring any expensive gear to festivals... I wouldn't be able to relax knowing I have $1500 of equipment in a tent somewhere!
With that said, what do you normally carry with you at a festival?
Usually I leave my main photo gear at home and carry my Canon Powershot SD400 as it just disappears in my pocket. Unless it's a only a one-day festival and then I'll carry my Sony A-100 with an entry level Tamron 28-200mm lens that I don't mind getting dirty!
