Back from Beale Street

| | TrackBacks (0)

I am bumping this entry to the top of our list today. It's Monday and there will be news coming today - as our inbox is full. For now though, please check out the great photos that our friend Jamie Flemington took for us.

I am really excited to announce a new set of photos that I put together last night. The photos are this past weekends Beale Street International Music Festival. You can check out our previous entry about the festival below:
The Beale Street Music Festival

beale_street_thumb_one.jpgThe photos were all taken by my friend Jamie Flemington. She was kind enough to take photos on her trip to the festival for Festival Friendly. Please thank her if you can!

The photos are currently in our flickr group and were uploaded to my personal flickr account.

Once again, we hope to have our own gallery on Festival Friendly sooner than later. This will allow us to keep all of the images on our server and our website so that you won’t have to jump to other sites to see some of our content.

Thanks so much Jamie

ff_entrecard_logo.jpgI do in fact realize I have posted this very same (similar) entry ten days ago. I'm going to keep bumping this entry to hopefully inform people of the various venues we currently have at Festival Friendly for people to get involved and to contribute to our mission.

So find below a short list and description of some of the things we are doing here. Check out our forums!

Festival Friendly - Forum
Our forums were just put online last week and we are really excited to have these online now. Please register and join in on a discussion. We have already been fortunate to have a handful of really active and enthusiastic members. So exciting folks!

Festival Friendly - Myspace
We do in fact have our very own Myspace Profile. We have been fortunate enough to get a really great response from festival fans on Myspace. We seem to be getting new Friend Requests on a regular basis. Please keep adding us!

In time we will be adding some various tools and functionality to our Myspace Profile that will help as another resource for information on Festivals.

Festival Friendly - Facebook
We currently have a Facebook Group. I am not sure if this is available to everyone - as I noticed this is an actual Network on Facebook. Let us know if you have problems joining! We have had several photos added to our gallery there.

Festival Friendly - Flickr
This was our first group we created to help establish our presence online. As of today, our Flickr group has grown to 61 Members and our Photo gallery has a staggering 658 photos already. That's not bad for only creating the group about two months ago.

We are aware of several other avenues and websites that we can create accounts to help promote the site. In time, we hope that we don't have to rely on these sites to help get visitors. For now though - please check them out and add us as a friend on Myspace, or contribute to our Flickr group.

Most importantly though - sign up in for our forum and start contributing. We are growing already!
