The Northwest String Summit returns in 2008 for it's seventh consecutive year. The festival is held at Horning's Hideout in North Plains, Oregon, on July 18th - 20th. This festival will feature three days of mostly acoustic music with the band Yonder Mountain String Band being the musical hosts as well as finishing up on the main stage - each night of the festival.
Horning's Hideout is located just 35 minutes west of Portland and plays hosts to many events throughout the year. For music festivals, Horning's Hideout has a natural ampitheatre with multiple pavilions and a giant wooden stage made from lumber farmed off of the property.
Keller Williams will also be playing at Northwest String Summit this year. He will play two nights - one night by himself and the other with Keith Moseley (From The String Cheese Incident).
Tickets for the festival range from $140.00 USD - $155.00 USD and can be purchased online at TicketsWest.
