The legendary Mike Gordon, bassist from Phish, has been confirmed as part of the line-up for the 2008 High Sierra Music Festival. This was announced officially today - Mike will be playing along with his own band. The last time he played at High Sierra Music Festival was in 2005.Mike Gordon is also proficient at the banjo, piano, harmonica, percussion, and guitar. He is also an award-winning filmmaker.
Michael Franti and Spearhead were also announced today as new additions to the line-up. Ironically, the last time they played at this festival was in 2005 as well.
As previously mentioned, the festival is being held in Quincy, California and runs from July 3rd - 6th, 2008. I won't be making it to the west coast just yet, but this festival promises to be a great time.
